Frequently Asked Questions

How long will the installation or repair take?
Most windshield installations take about an hour to complete, then another 4 hours for the urethane to cure so it’s safe to drive. Door and back glasses usually take about an hour, cure time depends on application. Windshield Repairs are generally completed in about 30 minutes.

Can you replace my Windshield or Auto Glass if it’s cold or raining? 
In order to provide mobile Auto Glass service during inclement weather, we will need suitable shelter (such as a carport, garage, heated garage etc.) from cold or precipitation. If shelter is unavailable at your location on a rainy day, we will gladly re-schedule your appointment for a more appropriate time or bring the vehicle to our shop and deliver it back to you.
 

Do you offer mobile service?
Yes, for your convenience we offer mobile service in Marion County and Crawford County and the surrounding area. This service is offered Monday through Friday only.  If you’re in the surrounding area, contact us to verify that mobile service is available.
 

Will my insurance company pay for my new windshield? 
If you have comprehensive insurance (commonly referred to as full coverage), your policy probably includes glass coverage. Comprehensive deductibles can vary. Contact your insurance company to confirm coverage and deductible. Or, give us a call and we can try to contact your insurance company with you.
 

Will you clean the broken glass from my vehicle?
Yes, we vacuum all the broken glass out of your vehicle and any glass that has made its way into the inside of the doors. We do not vacuum around personal items in your vehicle, so you will need to make sure those are taken out so we can vacuum.
